Bipes ACU Settings
 

People when they first get their Bipes ACU, always wonder what settings they should start with. If you need/want custom settings for your car, please tell me your setup (base timing, gas octane, psi level, and if you have an IC or not), and I will make some for you.

Here is the setup you should start with (with a base timing of 12 degrees), then you can play from there to personalize for your own car:

Switch 1 (1.6L): open
Switch 2 (Full AFM retard): open
Switch 3 (Full AFM retard): closed
Switch 4 (Full AFM retard): open
Switch 5 (Retard-to-temp ratio): open
Switch 6 (Retard-to-temp ratio): open
Switch 7 (RPM Map): closed
Switch 8 (RPM Map): closed
Switch 9 (Display Options): open
Switch 10 (Display Options): open

The above settings are pulling 6 degrees total, pulling 1 degree of timing for each temp change of 65F*, starts to pull timing at 3000rpms and reaches full retard at 4000rpms, and show how much timing is pulled on the display.
