GReddy Oil Inlet Upgrade (with Part Numbers)

Hey guys, I just installed my Greddy kit with some custom oil lines and now that I know it all fits I thought I would post the exact part numbers and everything I used in case anyone wants to duplicate it. It's very similar to the part numbers on this thread:
https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/sh...eddy+oil+lines

I used Banjo bolts and -3AN line. I ordered the following parts from http://www.anplumbing.com/

Earls 977515 10mm x 1.25 Banjo bolt $4.18 (for Greddy turbo connection)

Earls 977520 10mm x 1.5 Banjo bolt $4.18

Earls 997631 10mm Banjo Adapter -3 male to 10mm Hole diameter $6.18ea (2 needed) $12.36

ANPlumbing 63010132 -3AN SS line Female swivel both ends, -3 hose, 32" long $14.69

Total comes to $35.41 before shipping ($10 shipping for me to Florida)

Not bad for a complete replacement line. I could have even gone several inches shorter on the line, but I wanted to be safe. The -3 line is pretty much identical in diameter to the stock Greddy line so I feel good about using it, but if you are using anything other than a Greddy kit you might want to use -4.

I just ordered all of these bits, the line and the banjos are very tiny compared with the stock Greddy line. Is this ok?

So basically, when you say it's the same diameter, you mean on the inside, right? Because the line I received is about .25" around..

The banjo fitting that comes with the Greddy kit is freakishly large. There's really no need for that so far as I can see. Most of us who have upgraded are running basically the same style banjo fitting that you now have.

I have never cut the stock Greddy oil hose open to see what the actual ID of it is. It does look pretty big. OTOH that little block fitting they give you looks like a pretty serious restrictor. Personally I'm running -4 hose with banjos (of the type you have) at both the block and the turbo, with no restrictors. Haven't blown any seals yet. (we need a "knock on wood" smiley for situations where I say something like this.)

Thanks Joe. I put the line in the other day and so far, so good. I guess I was just alarmed at the size difference, and wondering if I'd been sent the wrong line by mistake. But after looking around at some engine bay shots, many are running such a small line.
