Phenomenal. Thanks much for the link, supercar suspension 101.
This photo blew me away. http://blogs.insideline.com/straight...478-100787.jpg |
I'm equally impressed with the width/thickness of those rotors. That has to be 2-2.5" thick.
|
I was impressed by the rotor photos as well. What really got me were the tiny ass nuts connecting the rear subframe to the tub. wtf?

Some of the best pornography I've seen in a while. :giggle:
|
225s on 9" wheels up front, interesting.

Hey look, just like the suspension on modern formula cars found at your local track every weekend. Its funny how people get excited when supercars display "new" technology, that is actually very old technology.
Here is the rear suspension on my old race car: Attachment 186465 This car was built over nearly 40 years ago and even then it was a low budget race car. |
Either way, it's still gloriously beautiful.

Yep, well made and good looking, but nothing new.
I like DAX Rush Camber compensating front suspension. I feel that this really offers something "new". http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...suspension.jpg Here is how it works. Dont know what DAX Rush is? Lotus/Caterham 7 clone with turbocharged Hayabusa engine pushing 350hp. 777bhp per tonne |
It's not a matter of whether it's new or old. Sexual intercourse has been around for a while, but they still take pictures of it. The underpinnings of that car are simply beautiful.
|
wow.
