I'm sure it's fail boat, however, I'm going to ask it anyway: Any chance of running this set up on stock sheet metal or is it full blown mexi-poke?

Dear God I can just see the clubroadster post.
"Can I haz 195/50/15 on the 15x10 6ul" "Bro you'll have Mad stance yo." |
I got some more seat time Monday and wanted to share some observations.
The 10" 6UL's are the perfect rim for the 245 Hoosier slick. When I used a 9" rim with the 245's the steering was more vague and the break away was more abrupt. With the 10's the steering is very precise and break away is very predictable. It made the car easier to drive at the limit. If you plan to run a 245 slick or 245 R6/A6 find a way to fit a 10" wheel. It will be well worth the effort. |

Same exact thing I felt between running 245 DOT hoosiers and 275 DOT hoosiers. The 245's on 10's were like oh my god these things feel good. going back to 275's on 10's and dispite whatever the peak grip level may be the cornering feels vague, sloppy, and brake away is way less predictable and managable at the limit.
This observation has me getting 11's to run the 275's on. I am at the limit with 10's under the current body work. Should be a fun year with the current 245 offerings and the upcoming 245 RC1. |
Any ETA on a shipment of x 10's? I'm looking for a set of blacks.

Not until next year, Q2/15 probably. It will be about a pound lighter (flow formed) and cost a bit less than the current wheel.

Will these fit under a NB2 miata with little to no modification?

From the first post: These are a DIY, hacking fender open for flares, race slick only fitment. Google search Miata 15x10 6UL |

They barely fit with 30mm fenders and quarter panels.

Glad they arrived safe. Post some more pics :)

There are more pics in my build thread. Thank you for quick shipping by the way ;)

Couldn't find it anywhere on this thread. Has anyone seen or done 275s on the 15x10 with stock fenders on a NB? I'd really like to avoid cutting my fenders for flares, but I'd really like to run the 15x10s.

Since this thread got bumped, any updates on availability or preorders for 15x10s? Still Q2 sometime?

Ryan Passey (Thepass) at Redline Time Attacking last weekend at Chuckwalla. Won Unlimited RWD. R80's on 15x10. Stoopid grip.
First run of gen 4 15x10's will be late summer. https://scontent-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...5324839_o.jpg? |
Is there a list of the differences between the various Generation 6UL's anywhere?

Looks like silver with an even layer of brake dust :D
OT: Decent flow up trough the top fender vents? |
Good flow with our louvers, but that's for the engine bay not the fenders ;)
