1994 mazda mx5 suitable rim size?
Anyone know if 16" bbs rims with a dish would fit without problem in my 1994 mazda mx5. All help appreciated :)

"Without problem" in meaning not having to roll my fenders and coil overs etc

and what offset? Do you plan on running performance tires?
|
I'm still new to this stuff so I'm getting these scales off Gumtree, which of these is best?
16x8,+25. 16X9,+20- |
What is best really depends on your goals. What are you trying to achieve with these new wheels?

For starters this the rim I plan to put on, and at the moment my mx5 is stock apart from a front lip so basically wanna give it a bit of a stance look and overall better looking than stock.

Wont fit. Too bad you dont have a '95, otherwise it would fit easily.

Im fucking with you.
In case you cant feel the overwhelming hatred, I will spell it out for you. The status quo of MTnet is that of a focus on performance above all else. Questions about "stance" and wheel fitment are better directed at club roadster. If you want to know how to fit huge tires under your car, this is the place. If you want to be hellaflush and scrape along the concrete, this is not the place. My suggestion is that you forget those over priced BBS wheels and get some 15x9 6ULs and put money into decent tires. This opinion is based on what will make your car the fastest, not what will make it look cool. Yet again, if looking cool is your priority, this really is not a good forum for you. If my post does make sense, I appologize, I am a bit drunk. Ive been drinking these: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1383107130 |

But guess what: You want information, we have information. That means YOU have to play OUR game; Not the other way around. In the real world, you would provide us something we want in exchange for something you want - most commonly, you would provide us money in exchange for information. Alternatively, if we gave you that information for "free", you would have provided us with something intangible, such as a feeling of comraderie or kinship. In this case, you have not provided us any money, and because you have not established a record of being "one of the guys" here, you have provided only a single positive intangible. Unfortunately for you, that intangible is approximately the only possible intangible you could provide us that will NOT convince us to give you information: "Entertainment". The reason that providing us with this intangible will not earn you the information is simple: we are motivated to receive more entertainment, and if we provide you the information, our own entertainment ends; but if you squrim and wriggle, our entertainment is enhanced. But here's the glorious thing about the interwebs: the information you want is there. We've already given it to you for FREE. You simply have to find it. If you find the information, you don't provide us with entertainment at your own expense. You also have the ability to post that information up here in a vain attempt to provide us a feeling of comraderie. The information exists. Go get it. Also, do yourself a huge favor. Don't EVER mention a desirability for a "stance look" again on this forum and expect to have people kissing your feet. It's a very good way to make yourself look like an idiot around these parts. Best of luck in the future. |
lol 16" wheels
|
OP don't listen to the h8ters here. You are a special snowflake. Nobody has ever put 16" wheels on a Miata, so these jokers don't know the answer. But if you want more stance look, you should go with smaller wheels since they will get you even lower. I'd go with some 10" wheels at least. You'll be scraping on everything.

I love how these morons expect us to answer the same thing over 1 "kazillion" times but are too lazy to search and read through the 1 "kazillion" threads its been answered
