Anyone running Yokohama Parada Spec-2s?

These:

In 205/40/R16?

Any first hand experience? How are they? I don't want to pull the trigger on some shitty tires.

Pretty poor in the wet, (like all Yoko's really), and I imagine for very heavy track use won't last long, after 4-5 laps of Anglesey race circuit mine had started to melt and were pretty lairy on high speed corners.

Mine have lasted 3 trackdays, just

It's a fully street car. MIGHT see one track day a year.

Probably last pretty well then. Awful grip in the wet though.

Limits are controlable etc, they're just not particularly high limits. 1st, 2nd and to a degree most of 3rd are useless.

Pirelli P-Zero Nero is the best all around tire I've used on the street in terms of grip, noise, rain, and wear. Too bad they don't make a 15".

they used to. followed every groove in the pavement. drove me NUTS. I replaced mine with the then-brand-new azenis 615s and was much happier.

parada spec 2 is an old tire with old compound.

Yeah, Yokos are rough in the wet. Look into Falken maybe?

I'm on my second set of Spec-2s right now. Really good grip when dry, dangerous on wet roads. They do need one or two wheelspins to get them warmed up before gripping down like a sucker. They do give up after 5-6 laps on the track. The best all around tyre I have EVER tried on the Miata is the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Excellent both on wet and dry, track performance is solid and doesn't taper down as the lap count increases.

so the word filter on the proper spelling isn't a hint?

Parada S2 is more of a "show" tire...really designed for it's cool tread.

I give a big middle finger to Hankook for not making the new RS3 in 215-40/17.
