Alright so due to the fact that my project can be considered "wrapping up", I would like to consider a new wheel. First of all I'm not looking for a stance shitty XXR wheel, I just don't see myself ever buying XXR's. Also I don't want the perfect track wheel that rings up at 230$ a pop. I have a budget of around 550-600$ to spend on a wheel. So far I have consider the rota grid concave 15x8 +20, which i believe to be too heavy as I can't find a weight anywhere. The Advanti storm s1, seems like a quality wheel at a decent price (around 140$). The konig dial in from Goodwin Racing (120$), and the 6ul (150-160$). I know emilio has a pretty big following on here and m.net so I wanted to know what makes the 6ul's so much better than the Konig's or Advanti's? If its the strength or quality would it justify spending more per wheel? Also as far as weight goes the Konigs are the heaviest, then the 6ul's, then the Advanti's by a tiny bit. This will be put on just a street car so keep that in mind. As far as tires go federal 595 rsr's seem to have the vote for me. I have access to a fender roller so rolling a tiny bit shouldn't be that bad.

I have Advanti S1's 15x8 and just got my 6UL's 15x10. I think that if you looked at the raw wheel there is not much difference in quality, the 2nd valve stem on the 6ul is nice for the guys running nitrogen.Both are nice flow formed wheel. Its more about style, but i feel that the finish on my tungsten 6ul's is much higher quality than the gunmetal on my S1's.

I have bronze konig flatouts in 15x8 with 205/50/15's. I weighed then on my bathroom scaled at 28lbs a pop.

All three have a proper Miata backspacing. With Federals and a street driven car you very likely won't detect much difference between the three and should probably choose one that is visually appealing to you.

Do not roll your fenders until you check out the clearances with your tires mounted. You very likely won't need to do that at all.

I rolled mine , 15x8 with 205's. But I'm running near zero camber in the rear.

Actually the Konig and Advanti do not. We have always made two different tools for our 15x8 and 15x9 6UL so that at +36, the Miata specific offset we pioneered, each would be have the best strength to weight ratio and brake clearance.

To save money on tooling, the 250m+/yr YHI International, owner of the Konig and Advanti brands, cast their 15x8 using their 15x9 tool and are thus limited to +25 offset. Not a terrible offset but not optimized, just something leftover.

In all seriousness, take a look at the Jongbloeds. I especially like them on NA Miatas. Not the lightest wheel @ 14lbs, but acceptable.

i wanted 6uls but they were between generations and i was impatient, i was on the jongbleod group buy at 1st but delay after delay and then the weight announcement, i was done the advanti's were light as hell and looked good. But its all a thing of the past once the VR1's are available

Traklite Gear is a nice looking 15x8 with a +36 offset. I think Goodwin still has a few in stock.

I have 15x8 Enkei PF01's with Bridgestone RE11's that I bought as a package from Goodwin Racing. They have been fantastic.
