Theoretically. I'm just giving you my subjective experience. Depowered racks take some effort to steer at low speeds regardless of wheel width. So, either grow a pair or put the pump back in. :dealwithit:

I thought the OP had a manual rack.
There is nothing to "put back in." So: flat bottom 350mm wheel, less than 4 degrees caster, masterbate palms down to build biceps, got it. |
when I built my ls1 car, I did it without Power steering. I had a classic nardi 15" (381mm) wheel. every autocross was like a workout. Eventually I just put power steering back on. -Johnny

you're never going to get any stronger masterbating. you need to masturbate.

If you get the alignment right(Emilio makes that easy) a manual rack is no problem at all. Compared to my brothers Porsche, it feels like power steering. 15x9 & 225's and I don't even notice it.

Dang Jeff. When does your girlfriend get back into town to help you with your bicep problem? :giggle: :( Don't date a theatre actress. |
Hey Andrew, have you experimented with staggered wheel widths using the same tire size to test sidewall stiffness/stretch handling characteristics? I.e using a 8" wheel on the front and a 9" wheel on the rear to stiffen the sidewall to help rotate the car without the use/stiffening of the rear sway bar?
