Soo, which one? K1's vs. C1's (pics inside)
Top: Kosei K1, 15x7 +38 at 13 lbs each
Bottom: TRMotorsport C1, 15x8 +20 at 15 lbs each
Right now I'm leaning towards the Kosei's. But I do want a wider wheel for looks and traction with 200whp. I also wanted something a little more flush with the fender, and the TRMotorsports fill that void. But the Kosei's are obviously lighter. I think they're both equally appealing, ahhhhhhhh.
Right now I currently have the Kosei's, but someone wants to buy them. I asked 5 of my closest friends and 4 out of the 5 said to keep the Kosei's.
EDIT: While I was photoshopping the other wheels in, I gave the car a drop. So no, my car is not really that low... yet.

If this a street car then a 15x7 will be fine, especially at 200whp. You need to look into tire compound and side wall height if you want more traction, having wider wheels should not be priority number one.
I personally think the K1 is a far better looking wheel and a bonus is that you save 8 pounds of weight. In fact, it's the only other wheel I would trade my KZ-M's for.

I like the fact that there is a nice lip/depth to the C1's compared to the K1's. Plus the K1's have another inch plus a lower offset. But like you said, the K1's will save +8 lbs. Maybe I should just shut up and get some spacers for the Kosei's and call it done.
But the fact that I keep lookin' at this pic doesn't help:

I think I like the look of the C1's more, I would paint them white either way. But the brand and weight of the K1's, and the fact that I already have them, are making me still lean towards keeping them.

jtothawhat runs a 15x7 @ 400whp and has limited issues with the proper tire.
One of my good friends is running sub 7's in the 1/8th on a 14x6.5 with a proper tire.
EDIT: Sorry, I'm talking from a point of strictly straight line traction. I would honestly just get 15x9 wheels for autocross/track duty and keep the K1's for street duty.

Agree with others, 15x7 is plenty. I have 15x8 and you have to go to a pretty extreme tire for the proper 225/45 width. A decent tire in the 205 width is $52, where as the cheapest 225/45 tires is over twice that at $122, and is an r-compound. These quotes are from onlinetires.com, pretty cheap prices.
Just looked at tire rack, cheapest is the RS-3 for $103, still twice as much.
Invest in a good LSD or better 205 tires before you start throwing money at a 225 width and 8" wheel.
