Hoosier A7

New "tread" looks bitchin!
and they will have a size that some of you have been requesting: 245/50/15

245/40R15 is the size people want, not a 50 aspect ratio. That's a 24.5 inch tire, it's not going to fit the Miata.

LOL at the DOT rain grove. Way to go Hoosier for really stretching the "DOT" line.

I have no Idea what car would use a 245/50/15. it wont work on a miata. maybe an E30 BMW. or something. seems like really odd sizes to start out with.

I think they did weird sizes so they could meet the SCCA's deadline and hope that no one actually tried to order any tires. Lol. That 245/50 might work on like a mid 90's mustang. I think the 16" tire works on TT RX7s or something the other sizes also seem really fucking weird. You would have thought the first tires to come out would be ones the sell a lot of like 205 and 225 15s, stuff in 13" sizes, and stuff in corvette sizes.

yea skinny tires for tall rims and tall tires for small rims seems like they were avoiding selling many initially.
