Keep fenderliners?

I will be installing 15x9.5 freeforms with 245/40 15’s on my na , as soon as I finish my bushing install. I started with 15x8’s ,225/45 15’s and I managed to keep my fenderliners. Has anyone done this on something similar to what I am going to?

With that tire and wheel set up your front fender liners will be self extracting.

Yeah, that is what I was afraid of,lol. It is nice to keep it cleaner, but I know this is supposed the biggest combination on an na without flares. Thanks guys for the input. If anyone else has tried this , succeed or fail , let me know.

I am running 295 (stock diameter) on 15x12 wheels and my OEM fender liners haven't self extracted yet :D

The only way that's physically possible is if your shocks have somewhat less bump travel than most aftermarket shocks. 15x9's with 225/45 will tear the liners out with Xidas, for example.
I might guess that you have adjusted that to keep the inside shoulders from slamming into the tub as spacing them out just puts the tires into the body seam.
