Will these have the TW rating on the sidewalls?

I'm not sure. I believe I heard that Maxxis UK would be selling these, but I can't confirm. They operate independently from Maxxis USA.

Yes, they will.

That's a difficult question to answer at this point. The VR-1 obviously has more grooving and deeper tread depth. 9/32" on the VR-1 vs 6/32" on the RC-1. The construction is also a little different, but the VR-1 is still pretty stiff. As usual, the only way to really know for sure, is to test.

Most probably since the non-preprod RC-1 are E-marked (at least the dimensions I've seen in person).

My 15x10 6ULs are on their way in. I have a track day coming up end of March. Any chance I can have a set of VR-1s by then, or do I need to put on the 225 Rivals?

It'll be close, but very possible. We'll be announcing a release date very soon.

Me too! Well, I've been co-driving my buddies Ti MSM while I patiently await the sweet, sweet release of these VR-1 rubbers.

I know this is all about the 245, but are any other sizes being announced?

Don't think the 245s, even on the 9s, will fit under the NA body without flares.

It's my understanding they will be purchased online direct from Maxxis just like the RC1.

Probably not with the ride height you're looking for. I fit 275 A6s on 9s without flares on my car (decent amount of pulling, 6ULs +10mm spacer) but had to jack the car up and fucked my camber. To be fair, I probably could have used more spring. I probably would have been faster with 225s.
