This may be a stupid question, but since these are AA traction vs the RC-1 A traction, does that mean they are grippier tires than the RC-1? I can't imagine it's that simple.

UTQG traction rating is based primarily on wet braking.

Was hoping for much better life out of the Rival S, but only managed 5k miles and ~3 track days. 15x10 6ULs arrive today, VR-1s on order. Time to roll some fenders.

Yes.

Just did a day of autocross testing on an STR Miata at Mineral Wells for GRM.

Next up is back to the track on my KMiata.

So much testing, so little time...

Hopefully as quick as possible so other manufacturers follow suit and it becomes a permanent tire size.

I wasnt taking any chances on these selling out before I got a set. I think they went on sale at 1am central time

As much as I want my good friends and Maxxis to own all the market share in this new size for a while, I know the industry will finally see sales figures and react. Autocrossers will race on them. TR will see it ask the bigs for the size. Downside is that 15x10 +25 4x100's will become a new standard size and my market share will disappear. I guess I just have to work on the next thing
