Most cold temperature tolerant high-performance tire?

15x9 6UL. Boulder, Colorado.

So, I used to live in Atlanta where I ran RS3's year around. Now I live in Boulder, Colorado and need to replace the RS3's because they are completely worn out. I have a dedicated set of snow tires/wheels. Colorado weather is very bipolar where it could be 90 during the day and dip to below freezing at night. I park in parking garage, so it's not heated.

What tires would you guys recommend I run in the 'summer'? Something that can hopefully withstand some freezing cold spells. I am hoping that the answer is not to run all-seasons.

Thanks.

LOL.

Maybe Continental's new ExtremeContact Sport, though they would be 205/50 on my 15x9s?

I had Hankook Ventus V12 EVO's on my Civic and those were not too bad in the cold, but those tires were not great on the track. Overheated very quickly.
Now I have Yokohama Advan V105 Sport on my Lexus and those tires do not nearly overheat as quickly as the V12's did, but they are also not great at low temperatures.
Ultimately it becomes a "jack of all trades, master of none" type of thing, you cannot have a brilliant track tire also work great at freezing temperatures.
Also the 15x9 wheels does not offer great tire choice, unless you don't mind some stretch.
So I am wondering what kind of performance are you seeking for: do you autocross / track these tires too? Or just street duty?
Personally I would run something like the V12's, I see the Kumho ECSTA PS31 is available in 205/50/15 on Tire Rack, that might be a candidate.
