To those who run huge rears...

..what size front tires do you run? I am currently running 17 x 7" with 215/45-17 tyres for a 90% track, 10% street NB (big front discs that won't fit 15s). Here in Australia, the Koya semi forged wheels are popular and cheap, so I'm looking at the SF02 in a 17 x 9" with a +15 offset. Turns out like this compared to my current fitment:

At the moment it has 250whp, with ethanol still to come, so hopefully approx 300whp in the end. Seems like there are lots of guys running 245, 255, and 275 rears - I was just wondering what size your fronts are when your caboose is that fat? Over here the size 255/40-17 is readily available. Given my context and specs above, should I run 4 x 255s, or should I run 255s on the back, and something thinner on the front?
Many thanks :)

Almost everyone runs identical f/r sizes
So yeah, square.

Square. 245/40/15 front and rear. 255/45/17 won't even come close to fitting on the car properly. Like 3" too tall.

Unless you have significant rear weight bias, run square setup for anything that turns.

Huge rears

Just for shits and giggles, read this thread.
