Where to buy my MT drag radials from? And will 250 size fit?
I want to pick up a pair of mickey thompson et street radial IIs. PN 3751R, size P225/50R15 24X9.00R15. This will fit right? Or do I have to go with 205s?
Right now, I have 225/50 RS2s in the rear and they fit ok. Also, where should I order them from? Suggestions? This isn't rocket surgery but thought I'd ask. http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/60...2-radial_b.jpg Pics for boners. Mounting on trusty ol 15x8 6ul. |
i dont see why they would not fit. I have 225/50/15's on stock 15/6 from when i had the car in C-stock.

Summit racing is where you should buy them. Pretty hard to beat their price and service.

OTAY. Ordering 225. Can't wait for the cadillac ride.

Let us know that everyting fits right. That is the exact tire that I planned on for the extra two UL's that I bought. I'm pretty sure it will. Lee Bohn is running them on his V8 car now.

Well seriously then, what to run in front?
The sucky thing is that half the year here it is under 60*F and that means nice summer tires like RS2 just suck half the time. What to do. |
The MT's will suck just as bad in the cold.

No.... :*( Paging dr. Jayl? The truth? Is it? |
Yep, they suck in all conditions except when they are hot and used to go in a straight line. Shouldn't be much of a surprise there.

Hello! MT drag radials are for drag racing! You are making some serious compromises in the name of quick ET's
If you want to maximixe your straight line ETs, get as skinny and light weight tire you can put on the front that is street legal and safe. Giant road race rubber on the front and drag race rubber on the rear is a little oxymoronic. You are officially a drag racer and will pay a huge price from your peers.....................Unless you go real fast. |
Hmm well I'm not going to be going to the drag strip very much. I just want to be able to have some traction with 350+hp power levels. Are there any alternatives where I wouldn't get wheelspin through fifth?

Go Hankook RS-3 all around(225-45-15) and control your right foot

What rear are you running? With an RS3 you'll probably spin 1-2 and hook in 3rd with some spin. |
