low impedance ok?

I have a set (6) of low Z supra injectors.

$20 +shipping and they're yours.

kind of a dumb question but i never knew this...whats the difference between low and high impedance:ugh:

Dow.tom 12-15-2007 11:27 PM

one you need to add a resister in the line for it work... not sure which

Low impedance (aka Peak & Hold) injectors typically have a series resistance in the 2-4 ohm range. The are capable of faster performance (less turn-on lag) than high-impedance injectors, but only when driven by a PWM-capable ECUs. They can be used with regular ECUs by adding large series resistors to prevent them from being destroyed, though the performance advantage is lost when this is done.

High impedance (aka saturated) injectors are what we consider to be "normal" injectors. They require no fancy drive circuitry.

Joe, do you really think either one of those guys will actually understand anything you just wrote? :inout:

lmfao  sort of, so pretty much i have to buy resistors to run low impedance injectors with the ms? I mite as well just buy the RC 440 high impedance injectors probably be the same amount of money buying all of this shit to run low impedance
