AC compressor sensor/switch thing?
Not really sure what this thing is, but the wire pulled out of the sensor and now my AC doesn't work. It attaches to the top of the AC compressor. Went to Mazda and they said they don't have the sensor and I had to buy an entire new compressor, $$$$$.
It's for a '99, but from what I've seen I believe they're the same 90-05. http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...a/100_1110.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/j...a/100_1112.jpg Let me know if you've got a junk compressor laying around that you can snag the sensor off of and name your price. |

Call partsgroup. They've helped me out when the dealer can't (or won't).

I was planning on selling the entire AC system of my 90 for $50. Compressor, condensor, lines.
U wan't spares? If your gonna spend $50 might as well get everything. |
My 90's sensor is held on with 3 bolts

That is a thermoswitch to protect the compressor from oveheating. Mine pulled out as well. Just bypass it and you will be OK, at least that is what an auto A/C mechanic told me.
