Need to get an AFM for the car for now. Right after I got a new ISC and IAC valve put in the car, code 8 starts flashing again. It comes in and out periodically. Don't care if it stock one or RX7 one.

 

Never mind, I just checked mine and the afm reads out in spec according to the shop manual that I have.

 

OK, sorry for being a PITA, but I just redid the connections at the ecu, and still no luck. I am still in the market, looking for a stock or rx7 afm, so if you know of one, can you send it this way. Thanks, Steve

 

The stock AFM canlook good per the workbook specs, but still cause problems with Emanage. See my thread here:

Also, if you undid the connector screws from the body, you may have broken connections inside the AFM.

 

I'll try out another afm and see if maybe this is the case, there is a guy with an afm here locally that he will let me use it, so that I can try to figure out what is going on. Cool, thanks a lot for the info man, I will try and tear the top of it off today to get a better look on the inside, so that I can see if the potentiometer is broken off on the inside or something of the sort.
