Bipes ACU or similar for NA

I only plan to run 8 psi max and just need a way to retard timing. Let me know what you have and price shipped to 35904. Thanks!

Get a speedyefi. $250-400 for full control. At $250 for a fishdog kit there’s absolutely NO reason to go with an old Bipes or something like that

I plan to run the bipes until I find a deal on a MSPNP2.

thats interesting. Time for a little research.

Yeah, functionally the same. You are also in the ballpark moneywise for a RUSefi unit as well.
https://beermoneymotorsports.com/ols...standalone-ecu

has some cool features like onboard WB controller, SD card logging, DBW and some other stuff, but you may not have the same support you would on the MS platform.

how does this differ from the MS PNP2?

I'm gonna tag @nigelt who runs flowforce and let him spruik his system for you.

I have an AEM FIC that worked well with stock AFM for 7 psi. I have a patch harness too. LMK if you want it.

what are you asking for it? I’m only familiar with The MS2. Details please?

Jamikins 01-17-2022 10:53 AM

I'd take 275 shipped. The patch harness was 130 new, the unit was close to 400.

https://www.aemelectronics.com/produ...ntroller/fic-6

The unit is a piggyback, taking signals from the ECU, modifying them, and then sending the modified signals (timing, fuel) to various components to provide the desired timing or fuel as programed.

I won't provide programming info but will leave the settings on the unit from my 2000 NB; you will need to google for threads on the unit if you have questions (do not ask questions here, you will likely be told to get an MS2/MS3). The DSM and Neon groups use this quite a bit. There are older threads on Mturbo.net also.
