Default Looking for A/C System

So my miata has just become my DD because I decided to go back to school (no more company car) and I've got a leak somewhere in my AC system (won't hold a charge for more then a week) and would rather just buy and install one then hunt down the tiny leak. I was about to take everything out until it become my DD, so I know there are some people out there who have done or will do the same. I have a 93 that has been converted to R134 so please PM me if you have an old AC system laying around that would be compatible and how much your looking for it.

Leak detection is alot simpler than entire system replacement, Considering you will be going over the same joints and orings with replace than repair...

Leak DYe, charge it up, then look

Ultraviolot light and lenses. Look for the bright color...

totally agree with jedduh to repair rather than replace,
even though I have most of the parts from a 95 for sale...

you're lucky to use R134 - way cheaper than R12 freon.

Hi Miatanutz,
Do you have a AC condenser and hard lines for a NA?
What is its condition?

How much do you want for it? I live in Athens and I can pick it up.

Thanks.

I was looking at options, if I could find something cheap I would just replace it. Those Leak detection systems look a little expensive. No reason to be a dick P51.

I have the ac system out of 2000, I'm asking for 150 for it complete with compressor, I have no idea how much it would cost to ship it to atlanta, let me know if interested...
