I am ready to buy a treasure coast top, and would like to split shipping with someone(s) within a reasonable radius of Fort Wayne, IN.

I'm in Columbus Oh. How do you propose?

Basically, ship to my local freight company to avoid the $100 lift gate fee, then I can meet you halfway with the top.
We split the shipping cost 50/50.
I will contact them to see if they will bill us separately.

I also work at a warehouse with freight docks if you want to quote it to my business address.

They can only ship 5 at a time, and we have 4 confirmed and a strong maybe, pending final costs.

Update time.
We have five tentatively, including myself, shipping to Ohio.
I've been in contact with treasure coast, and have been informed that a slight discount is available for this size of purchase, but there isn't a very big margin on the tops.
They are closed for the day, but I should have a quote for tomorrow.
Deezums, I would be willing to drive to St Louis just to have a beer with you, but I'd have to ask a tiny bit more of the shipping cost from you.
Also, the max number of tops per pallet is five, so either our 1 tentative person will have to decline, or 4 more people west of Ohio will have to be interested.
Now that I think it it, that might be a good idea. The Ohio area peeps already have enough to make this a good deal, and an even larger order couldn't hurt the discount amount.
Hopefully, I'll have a solid estimate tomorrow, but it looks like it will work out to around $600 a top all said and done.

And we have one in Indy now.

Damn that is a good price. If I didn't already have an OEM ht, I'd totally be in for one. My Treasure Coast trunk lid is awesome.

It's been years, but the speed limit used to be 65. I came hauling ass out of STL, passed a trailer and got tagged by a motorcycle cop on the shoulder I couldn't see because of the semi.

So, he said I was going 85. I said I was speeding, but I know I had my cruise set at 75 and there's no way I was doing 85. He said he had me on radar, not laser, and I never heard my detector beep...

So I never paid it, screw them. I wrote a letter to the judge explaining why, and that I'd pay a ten over ticket but not a twenty. Then they sent angry letters. It showed on insurance twice, but they only counted one, still. I'm nearly certain I'm suspended there, or maybe more, not sure how it didn't transfer over. Oh well :giggle:

I wish I knew more miata guys around here. Well, ones without hardtops...

I only had enough people to do the one shipment of 5, but if enough people are interested, I would be willing to do it again.

No. Just the tops.

That's a great price.

Mine ended up at 20.2#s fully assembled (window, seals, everything). Even if you have an OEM HT, shedding 30#s up high is worth it for a track car. Sell the OEM HT, save 30#s and put $300 in the bank. No brainer.
