I think I blew up my trans (or at least dorked up the reverse fork and/or shaft and/or gear) due to some "over enthusiastic" downshifting. I've got four (sometimes 5 and sometimes even 6) forward gears, but no reverse. I could probably dive inside and find out exactly what the problem is, but the trans is original to the drivetrain, and has 310K miles on it. It's been a good workhorse, but I think I should start with a fresh(er) base.

So send a PM, email (rwyatt365 at comcast dot net), or text (two-six-zero 348 eighty-six hundred) if you've got a "good" 6sp (preferably), or 5sp trans (beggars can't be choosers). I'm closest to Alpharetta, but "will travel for trannys", wait...what I meant was...

Do you ever pass through Virginia/DC area for no reason at all?

I have a spare 6 speed that I've been sitting on for over a year and need to recoup some finances for all this intercooler crap I've been going through

 

I have a sister-in-law that lives in Chesapeake VA - so it's not out of the question.

HOWEVER, I've got a line on a 6sp that (relatively) local, and for a great price. We're working out the details. If this falls through, I might circle back around.
