NEED a 1.8L HALFSHAFT

Hey, I got my convertion and the cv joint on one halfshaft is screwed up, Anyone have a halfshaft? Please!?

use your old 1.6L shaft....just pop the flange section off each and swap.

the circlips are a bitch, but the only difference between the two is the flanges to the stubs are larger on the 1.8L.

Its the cv joint closest to the wheel. What do yo mean swap the flance section? The 1.8l halfshafts are one piece units.

i just was cleaning out some of my parts from a friends garage and came across a 94 half shaft. its stuck in the hub though so you'll need a press to get it out. it's from my ABS car so it has that sprocket on it. won't make any difference though, i have NB abs axles in my base 94.

yours for free if you want to come get it.

oh........well that puts a damper on things....

the front hub section should still be swappable....FWIW, I put my 1.6L hub sections on my 1.8L axle shafts because i needed the ABS rings.

actually, i will be in Ewing this sunday doing a clutch swap if you want to come get it. that should be much closer to you.

ArtieParty 04-10-2008 10:18 PM

the place we're gonna be doing the clutch swap has a press.

Ok I got it working using one of my 1.6l shafts, and the outside cv joint. Thanks brain!
