I dont see that happening. I just called the only hydraulic hoses shop that came out on yellow pages. Heres what I was told:
First I asked about AN fitting and they work with such fittings, only metric. The prices are 1/4" Hose (Total estimated length) $58 5/8" Hose $33 1/4" Brass Fittings $54.78 ( $9.13/ea) 5/8" Brass Fittings $41.66 (20.83/ea) Labor $40 ($10/ea) Total 227.44 and then all the other male fittings that go at around $12/ea for the feed. The drain ones Ill say $20 or so, washers.. ect... Put me in the $300 neigboorhood :vash: looks like Im gonna have to wait. |

I went to home Depot bought copper tubing and fittings spent around $40.00 for everthing. Made all mine own supply oil lines and drain.:2cents:
|
^^ I dont see anything. o_o
|
why not just buy the ss hose from summit, buy some stylish AN fittings, and make my own? It would make my life a lot easier, then I could sell you my old water and oil SS lines.
Is this a bad idea? |
Hello people, just get used stuff on ebay from nascar partouters. You can find amazing deals... I got my SS return with reusable fittings and my kevlar/teflon feed for a total of like $25 shipped.

I can sell you an oil feed kit for 90-95 motors for $35. Includes 7/16-24 inverted flare to -3an male fitting (turbo side), M10x1.5 to -3an fitting (block side), and 22" ss braided line with 90 degree fitting.
I can also sell you a oil return kit for $30 but it won't be ss braided or use AN fittings (what the reasoning behind that anyway...the line sees no pressure) |
Good price !

Braided SS -4 AN Teflon lined What's ideal for inside diameter, for feed and drain?? EDIT: heres the link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AE...5/?image=large |
You know the feed on 90-95s is right under the 4th exhaust runner right?
-3 is better, but -4 adapters are easier to find. Whether you buy mine or not, you're better off buying a premade feed line than making your own. |
buffon, thats a deal from sprayed/artech.
|
It is a good deal, and yes I do know where the feed is. However I talked to begi's people and I was told the feed is more or less 26".
EDIT: I'll deal if you accept return and bitching of my part if it doesnt fit. |
Not sure where you're placing your turbo that you need another 4".
http://i26.tinypic.com/34euvcz.jpg http://i25.tinypic.com/2hqur1l.jpg IMO, a short line has less of a chance of rubbing on things, but if you want a 26" I'll source one. I'll take a return minus shipping both ways. |
