Just FYI, I was talking to a IT/Spec Miata guy Sat and he said that Spec Miata has made a change requiring everyone to go to the later 99 ratio Torsen instead of the 4.1 that everyone was running. He said prices on 4.1 Torsens have dropped significantly because of this. You might want to check the Spec Miata classifieds.

its going to take a little while to figure that one out. I'm not sure how I need to package it to make it safe. But a guesstimate from FedEx. This is just ball park.

a box 15"x12"x12" @ 65lbs. was about $54 to ship.

End of day(2 Business Days) FedEx Home Delivery® 53.47

I've shipped one before (complete housing) and I put it in a plastic rubbermaid container from Walmart ($5). It fit at an angle. Filled it full of padding (blankets) and taped the lid on tight. Sent via UPS. Just an idea.

Cool Idea. I'd be Ok with that as long as the recipient doesn't have any objections. I could also insure the shipment just in case.
