One of the ebay rings in my NA6 went and dug a lovely trench in the cylinder wall. I'm trying to pull parts together for a 1.8 build but I want to pull things together carefully and with a plan. So, anyone got a 1.6 block lying around they'd be willing to part with for less than the cost of me boring/pistons/retuning or repair sleeving this thing? I reeeeeaaalllllyyyy don't want to go down that road if I don't have to.
