WTB: 1.6 ECU and 1.6 cams (manual transmission);

I'm looking to buy 1.6 ECU's, and 1.6 intake and exhaust camshafts (manual transmission). To be shipped to California.

I am in need of several sets.

Code Monkey 06-28-2017 01:25 AM

I have the ECU in my partout thread.

HarryB 06-28-2017 06:10 AM

PM me please

Besusjesus 06-28-2017 11:05 AM

I've got a working 1.6 ecu, if you still need one PM me.

Joseph Conley 06-28-2017 01:46 PM

I got a 1.6 ecu too, let me know if you're buying up the entire supply lol.

As an FYI, '93 CA-spec cars used a different ECU from non-CA '93s and all '90-'92s.

In '93, CA cars got four-channel (full sequential) injection, whereas non-CA cars were still batch-fire until '94. Because of this, not all 1.6 ECUs are interchangeable.

I got both. Pm me if you're still looking for more.

Thank you, gentlemen! I will PM each and every one of you within the day.

Thanks for the heads up, Joe. These ECU's that I'm picking up are going to upgrade the '94 to '97 detuned 1.6 engines that were distributed in the NA's here in the Philippines back then. As it stands, some wiring work will really need to be done to get them to work on our cars. We've done it and we're looking to do more.

^ Way cool. :D

kick-rennedy 06-29-2017 11:04 AM

I too have a non CA spec ECU sitting around. Let me know if you're in need of another.

joeyb 06-30-2017 05:20 AM

Thank you for the responses, gentlemen! I think I have enough for now. I will start the thread back up should we need more.
