Default WTB - Your wheels, you big, ugly but light wheels

Wife decided she's getting me wheels for my birthday.

Got just a couple of hundred to spend, but want to put more rubber on the road, and worried about unsprung weight as always.

I don't mind refinishing, at all...actually prefer it. I'm putting new tires on, so crap tires that you don't mind removing, or bare rims great. If you have good tires on them I may still be interested, although shipping will suck, and the brand, type, life left, and price would all have to fit the bill.

Interested in the usual suspects:

6UL
Team Dynamics
Kosei
RPF1
Heliums

14x7
15x7
15x8

But throw any offer at me.

Thanks,

Your favorite *******.

A little heavier than I'd like to be, shooting for ~30lbs package weight at each corner.

A little big. I've done the 16" tire thing...not again.

Thanks though.

This will be the LAST set of wheels I ever buy for the Miata. I need to get it all right this time. I've never had 15" wheels, only 14"s and 16"s, and every wheel I've ever had that was wider than 6" weighed over 15lbs.

I've finally got the wife's blessing, and may have a little bit to spend, so I want to get something that really suits a turbo Miata this time.

I do have wheels that will be on the market soon, I will post pictures in about 15 mins because I am on the laptop with more info. They're 15x7.5 only thing is they have mis-matched tires NT-01's on a set and Falken Azenizs (sp) on another both 205/50/15's. The nitto's are like new though, the Falkens will need to be replaced shortly.

I can have better pictures of them now if you are truly interested. I honestly do not know the weight, but they're light. $450 w/tires +shipping.
