I would like to find a motor in the Washington, DC area...I will drive up to 150miles to find the right motor. I have a short nose and want to replace it with something different. I will entertain all offers so please don't be shy. I am also open to reasonable prices - but I know when I'm getting screwed ;-)

I have a spare motor but I really don't want to part with it. I might know of one or two in the area....give me a moment.

I have a 1990 Miata (that I let go because of my Mother's illness) which has bad rings (cylinder #4)...I just want to fix it and drive it to work...no turbo or anything MPG draining...just stock. I wouldn't mind a 1.8L...but since I haven't done a swap before...I'm guessing it would be slightly more time consuming that just dropping in a pre-built motor made for the body. I may be wrong...but haven't put much thought into this. Plus, now that I am not spending time at Mom's house anymore...Dad would like my two cars fixed and moved...I'm in a time crunch.
