Default WTB: 2560-2871 sized turbo

Buddy of mine is looking for a turbo for his 2.8 4cyl diesel Nissan in Russia. It is t25/28 pattern exhaust inlet 5 bolt outlet like just about every garrett and knockoff turbo out there.

His stock turbo is a tiny *** t25. He wants a NAME BRAND (no chinachargers) turbocharger anywhere from 2560 to 2871 in size or similar for a decent price.

Let me know what you've got. Thanx

I have a really nice Garrett T3. If he is willing to use a cast adapter off ebay for $50 he could use my turbo.

I have a GTi-R t28 available for $300. It works 100% but I was starting to notice some smoke from the exhaust during deceleration so I think the oil seals are on the way out. The nice thing about these journal bearing turbos is that the rebuild kits are cheap.

Here are the specs: Garrett T28

How about a brand new Garrett GT2860RS (.86 A/R turbine housing)? I have a buddy trying to sell two of them as a kit, but might be able to talk him into selling one.

A 2.8L would spool a t25 turbo like instantly. You need something like a t3 - t3/t4 with a large a/r housing so it doesn't choke out.

^ Concur... I have a GT3076R sized turbo with T2 footprint (.86 A/R). It is setup for EWG use though. However, being a diesel truck it will not see the revs that most gasoline cars like ours will see...
