No its not that I dont want to embrace evolution its just im in a strict savings practice till the end of the year. Saving a down payment for a house if you must know. I know a mspnp is the way to go but I just cant spend all that money at the moment. I even just passed up buying a 500 dollar hard top =/. I am tired of my cars timing being retarded by so much which is why im looking for a cheap solution till I buy a mspnp. And I just turned 25 on the 15th.

Terran, wiring in a Bipes sucks. You have semi-dismantle the ECU harness to install the thing and it is a royal ***-pain. Then when you want to remove it, the reversal process is twice as hard. It is not time/money/performance well spent to install a Bipes as a short-term solution to timing. As a guy speaking from direct experience, DON'T DO IT. Live with your shitty off-boost throttle response for the time-being and spend the money on something else.

You know... if you put your setup in your signature and told us about your car, somebody might be able to recommend a place to spend that money that makes sense. A 750ml of Blue Label is about the same price as a used Bipes.

Wow that is some expensive wisky. My current set up seems frowned upon lol. Its a 1.6 greddy kit with a bells downpipe, 2.5 exhaust, intercooler, eugo o2sensor with aem gauge, mashimoto radiator/fans. With that being said I can pick up a used msd ignition for cheap 70bucks to be exact. Should i pick it up, low ball even more or just pass?

sell your band aids. add a couple hundo. buy ms.
profit

seriously, we're trying to help you. spending money on "temporary" crap is worse for you in the end then doing it once and doing it right.

Bandaids = timing box, bipes, rising rate fuel pressure regulators, voodoo box, power cards, etc... Basically a bunch of expensive things that make your car run less like-*** for the time being until you get fed up enough to sell them at a huge loss and buy a megasquirt or comparable stand alone.
