WTB: 95-97 NA Miata

Hello to everyone. I am in the slow buying market for a Miata NA 1995-1997. The reason I slay slow buying market is because I will not return to the states until next year in January time frame. If anyone feels like willing to deal business I would greatly appreciate your offer.

My requirements are it has to be as follows:

-1995-1997 NA model
- Original engine and tranny
- NO RUST or severe body damage
- I will consider slight modifications
- It must be able to make a cross country trip unless it is on the West Coast (Oklahoma area)
- Again, NO RUST
- Manual Trans

Yes this all sounds like a wet dream however I have plenty of time to wait for the correct vehicle. As far as price goes I hope for it to not exceed 10,000.

Thank you in advance everyone.

DFW Craigslist is full of these. I could buy one and then sell it to you for $10K if you like.

You will have no trouble finding a miata meeting your requirements even with a hardtop in good condition for 6k, pretty much any time. That's the case in my area at least.

When my miata was totaled it only took me one day to find a NB2 with a 6 speed in good condition for 6k, and I was being picky to be honest.

That's the beauty of the miata. Cheap, fun, and easy to find with a manual gearbox.

The real question is why do you want 95-97? They switched to OBD2 in 95.5 so getting those through emissions is a bit harder. I would highly recommend a 94 miata to get all the 1.8 goodies and still stay with OBD1.

I have a super clean, one owner, 97. I only got it because I didn't want anyone else to have it. Now i want my space back.

130,000 mi

Honestly I am not really to concerned about the emissions stuff. And I just figure the later years of the NA generation will most likely be in better condition (just my way of thinking as that is not an accurate thought at all)
