WTB: A/C condenser

Mine's leaking, need a "new" one.

hook a brother up. I have a 91.

foxyroadster 07-28-2012 02:23 PM

I have one you can have for free, just cost of shipping. I bought it with a bunch of a/c parts and only needed the lines.

Braineack 08-03-2012 01:07 PM

anyone else? daddy needs dry balls.

jtpaintballwdp 08-03-2012 01:45 PM

Tough it out, you only have about a month and a half to go. Too bad you didn't ask a month ago I could have dropped one off, instead its sitting in a landfill somewhere because it was taking up too much space in my garage =(

TorqueZombie 08-03-2012 01:51 PM

I have one out of a '99 in great shape and has the drier thing on it too. If you want it let me know. I know fitment may not go well. Just pay the shipping. I'll send you the receipt and ship it in my FM rad box.

Braineack 08-03-2012 02:03 PM

have doubts that would bolt right in. ill let you know.

_spyder 08-03-2012 02:46 PM

I've got one from my '96 M Edition parts car. If it fits, you can have it for a few bucks plus shipping.

Braineack 08-03-2012 02:47 PM

that will probably fit. let me double check the parts catalogs.

_spyder 08-03-2012 02:49 PM

Sweet.

If it does, my PayPal is freehugs@happygolucky.com, send whatever you wanna pay and I'll get it shipped out.

Braineack 08-03-2012 03:05 PM

payment sent, thanks.

m2cupcar 08-03-2012 03:34 PM

You win. 96 is a NA 134a condenser.

Braineack 08-03-2012 03:37 PM

i looked up part numbers, it was all the same :) but thanks for the confirmation, DJ Robby Rob.

m2cupcar 08-03-2012 03:40 PM

Prove me wrong when you get and shoot a picture of it next to your original. What I believe you see in the #s is a part replacing the earlier one. IOW you can't buy a new R12 condenser. What you're getting is a condenser designed for 134a which should it improve your cooling. It should look visibly different - more "tubes".

Braineack 08-03-2012 03:46 PM

if it bolts in, whatever, :) if not i lost monies.

edit: oh i see what you're saying. the tube density/core is designed a bit differently, but should improve efficency when I run it on my r12 system?

m2cupcar 08-03-2012 10:29 PM

eggsalad

Braineack 08-21-2012 10:15 PM

Still need one. Im 0 of 2 with getting one now. Very hot and driving a very unreliable altima..not cool. Why not help your admin??? Why?

Bryce 08-22-2012 12:44 AM

Just FYI, you strictly need a 90-93 unit. 94-97 won't fit, unless you change ALL of the lines, besides the small amount behind the firewall. It is worth it to go to the 134a condensor. I did it myself.

Braineack 08-22-2012 08:11 AM

BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. are the fittings different on the core to the lines?

18psi 08-22-2012 08:53 AM

there's one on egay for like 75 shipped. Just be a baller and make it rain homie

Braineack 08-22-2012 08:55 AM

there's like 10 for $45 on car-part.com as well... I know you assholes have plently laying around, they just aren't clicking my thread.
