Probably something ridiculously stupid like $200.

Actually, just checked out UPS and they don't ship anything over 150lbs, and even that costs $140.

Would have to check out freight. May not be worth it, but you can take your pick of the two cores I've got out there.

Well my car is parked at the autox course so I haven't done any troubleshooting. I wasn't driving either and wasn't even in the car when it happened. From what I understand it was under load in second and just seemed to turn off. Now the engine wont turn over. There was one big cloud of white smoke and now nothing. He tried to compression start it before I could even run over to the car so atleast one rod looks like a banana at this point i'm sure.

I'm guessing an injector locked open and hydro locked it.

Ok, internals will be a lot easier, and there's some other parts on this motor that folks have asked for. I'll tear it open to get mangina's oil squirter and see what the rods and pistons look like.

Yours for shipping, let me know if you need anything else.

Sorry man, this week kicked my ***, and now I'm at work addressing all the really nice emails from folks that have been waiting on me while away at school. Gotta do some things with the wife this afternoon, but tomorrow morning is garage time.

I'll take some pics of internals for ya Anthony.

I have a spare set of 1.8 rods and pistons if you happen to have a 1.8 block.

Looks like I might have dodged a bullet. Not sure yet but I pulled the spark plugs and it looks like it filled every cylinder. Something happened with my megasquirt. I dont know if I had an alternator spike or what but all the megasquirt does now is fully open the injectors. I'll investigate that.

When I cranked it over without the spark plugs a ton of fuel shot out and I cranked and cranked and cranked it and never heard anything like a knocking rod so we'll see how it goes. I'm pretty sure I must have shortened a couple of them though

There could be a short in your TPS circuit.

Good to hear it's not an internal problem (fingers still crossed).

You get to break the news to mangina...

This must be exactly the problem. Just noticed the TPS wires came out of their connector and were hanging there. How about that.
