WTB: LC-1/LM-1/LC-1ST Replacement Sensor

Sorry, I put this in the wrong place the first time:

Anyone have a Bosch LSU4.2 5-wire wide-band O2 sensor? LC-1, LM-1, and LC-1ST are all the same sensor. Mine has been getting error 8 and error 4 constantly, so I'm assuming mine is shot.

I used to get mine from www.1stvwparts.com

And damn! prices have gone up! Used to pay 40 per... now at 77+... ouch.

Yeah, I have not seen anything below 79, not including shipping, so thats the best deal so far...

Yah, I used to get all my bosch 5wires from them. It was originally 38 a piece... f'ing inflation.

did you try a heat shield first as they show you in the manual?

reddroptop 04-07-2008 06:08 PM

I picked one up last year for 40$.

My car is non turbo (right now), and the o2 sensor is custom welded before 1st cat (good length away). I didn't feel the need for the shield due to this fact, however I will probably look into it.
