I am looking for a Hard Dog Roll bar or similar. I am in Atlanta so I can pick up if it is within a few hours. Thanks

It's not easy finding a bar locally, new or used. I just ordered mine new through Flyin' Miata ONLY because there is free shipping on Hard Dog bars until January 31st.

I was think'n about that... but I don't like the harness tabs. I like the bossfrog around the tube setup much better.

That Boss Frog is sick. I wish there was a similar solution that would allow for a hardtop.

He's in Cincinnati, OH.
I would have gotten his, but it's not readily compatible with a hard top unless you get the Beatrush Low Profile side latches for another ~$150 or unless you bolt the hard top down. Or just don't want to use the side latches.

I am looking into one of these, but need to know the height from the package shelf to the top of the bar for both the Standard and Maxx. I may be too tall for either.

I would get an M2 if you ever want to get a hardtop or glass rear window. My M1 had to go bye-bye b/c it wouldn't fit under my HT

ahh ****. Thanks for the tip.

on FM's site it reads:
The Sport is Hard Dog's best all-around roll bar and is our favorite for street use. It works with both hard and soft tops without problems and does not affect seat travel.
Is that inaccurate?

I had the M1 HardCore Double Diagonal
But I've heard that if you get fancy slim profile latches that you can squeeze the top over the bar.

Yeah, I ordered the M1 HardCore HardTop Double Diagonal because I like my side latches, wanted the harness bar instead of tabs, didn't want to deal with the bolt-in harness bar, and because I sincerely doubt I'll ever get a soft top with a glass rear window.

If you have the normal HardCore, and you can fit a hardtop over the bar (I read that very few people have issues fitting a normal HC bar under a hardtop, the ones that do usually have a car that has been wrecked or a package tray has gotten tweaked in some odd way), look here for the low profile latches. Apparently an ongoing group buy: http://www.clubroadster.net/forum/vi...atrush&start=0

non-maxx version clears hard top. those things are expensive though :/
mine came out to like $800+ for everything. could have gone with a roll cage for $100 more...
