I don't think most people here buy MBCs. There's a nice DIY thread around here somewhere. I think I've got a spare built if I can put my hands on it....

The DIY is the same stuff as the EBAY china stuff you do not want, a fitting is a fitting with a metal ball and a spring, nothing spectacular about it.

why not buy a Granger valve MBC (DIY) for about $15. Love it like the rest of us do. Then put the $75 that you would save on that deal toward a replacement for your slipping clutch.

Be your own f-ing quality control.

Brand name just means that you don't have to put any work into it, and it is shiny.

I'm thinking about going EBC. I'll sell you my 'SlowBoy Racing' MBC. On the cheap like.

^FRT, that is exactly what i was talking about!!!! i built the same one. except while you are shopping at McMaster Carr you should pick up a 5/16 Ceramic ball for $2 for that split second faster response.

Agreed. Couldn't be happier with mine. Took me 2 min to build. Hardest part was finding a drill bit small enough to make the vent.
