Check BOFI racing for a MS3 Basic, they don't charge VAT if you are in the US so you can get a new one for a few hundred bucks cheaper than normal. I just got mine and it works great

Missing? I haven't noticed missing anything, I believe the feature set is very similar. There are threads showing off the MS3 Basics Features, you could go down and compare the two if you wanted to, I can't think of anything the MS3Pro has that the MS3 Basic doesn't have.

I really don't know, I didn't want to hack up my stock ECU at all for a case, it is also missing a bunch of inputs. I am not even sure if it has an options pigtail. I couldn't find much info on it, and it only cost me an extra 200 bucks to get the best ms3 for the price. I would assume it already has a place to splice in the wideband wiring, but I couldn't find a place to confirm it. I would recommend contacting Reverant regarding it, he makes them and should have plenty of info on it.

Hey Guys,
Just a note the MINI takes the O2 Signal from the stock loom, so just route the widebands analog output to that. The Basic has a seperate loom on the DB37. The Mini is basically everything most people need, with the basic allowing you to go mad with additional sensors and I/O out of the box. Cheers Dan |
Thanks for the clarification, sounds like its a great alternative.

Thanks for all the input guys. Buying a ms3mini now.
