So I am reverting to stock and I cant find the stock plug that people remove to install an oil feed line fitting.

Does anyone have this laying around and not need it?

Im having trouble figuring out the length I need. I dont want to get one too long and block an oil passage or something, or too short and have it not have enough threads to stay put.

Found it is M10x1.5 though

You'd have to go about 4 inches deep before you blocked anything. That supply port on the exhaust side near the flywheel is at the very end of a long, dedicated passage.




The threaded portion of that hole is quite shallow, however. I doubt you'd be able to go much over 10mm in length before the bolt starts bottoming out and can't seal properly. (Just a guess- it's been a long time since I've looked at one.)

That's a very helpful visual, thanks.

Ill just get a couple different lengths from home depot racing and see which one threads all the way in with the bolt head crushing the washer vs bottoming out (M threaded bolts seal with bolt head pressure correct? not like an NPT that seals with thread pressure as thread size tapers down?)

Correct- this is a parallel thread, and it requires a crush-washer to seal. I believe the stock washer was copper, though I imagine that aluminum would work roughly as well.

great. Thanks for the confirmation. I managed to find a M10x1.5x 20mm down in the shop, but that looks too long. Ill have to check when I get home.
