WTB Springs, 600#/400#, 2.5" dia, 7" Lg, + NB top hat pair

Looking for some used springs to complete some bilstein coilover assemblies. This is a first stab at rates and lengths, so I don't see a reason to buy new - but I'd rather stay away from ebay springs that are supposedly X or Y lbs/in...

Hyperco/Swift/Eibach preferred, QA1 and other circle track stuff also works.

Whatcha got? I'll be looking for prices shipped to 44266 for matched pairs.

I also need a pair of NB top hats, if anyone has a set laying around, and especially if you are already sending my a box with springs

This dude might have his 400# for sale still and is seemingly 2 hours from you

Thanks Psyber, I totally missed that thread - and a good idea it is... I'll pm Doward.

Still interested in what folks have laying around in the mean time.

psyber_0ptix 10-30-2014 01:36 PM

May need to throw a post in there to remind people to list what they have. On the otherhand, since we cannot update a post to say if a set was sold, we may (with moderator permission) just start a rolling list thats copied from post to post. It seems, however, since it's a very small group of folks that might have anything, your WTB ad is totally fine. I was just pulling a reference to see if it'll help you out.

Figured I'd cross post there as well. Help is muy appreciado, thank you good sir.

That they do, and the QA1's are even cheaper most times... I'm just being ultra-cheap for now and trying to score some pre-loved springs, as I might be doing some switching around of components, playing musical springs you might say...

Thanks Slammed, that's more the kind of deal I'm looking for - I'd jump on it if they were 600's... Someone should snag them though and pair them with some 350's in the back!

sbcrx007 11-08-2014 09:32 PM

Still looking for a pair of 600# springs, and a pair of NB top hats... anyone?

sbcrx007 11-14-2014 10:45 AM

So nobody has a pair of NB tophats for me? Was hoping someone had both the 600# springs and the tophats...

If not, I'm picking up the tophats from one of the used miata parts places tonight. Still looking for those 600# x 7" springs.

sbcrx007 12-10-2014 04:38 PM

Still on the hunt for some used 600# x 7.00 coilover springs.

sbcrx007 12-29-2014 01:08 PM

Ok, nevermind bought new ones...

I should probably start assembling all this someday... The horror of 6 simultaneous garage projects.
