Exclamation HELP!! Airflow meter or ECU 1.6L 90-93

Soooo my Airflow meter took a huge **** on me, car still runs fine to drive but it isn't sensing any change in the airflow meter vane at all. I'm in need of either a good 90-93 Miata airflow meter OR a good 86-88 RX-7 non-turbo meter (this is what is currently on the car). Ive been looking into ECU's b/c they are on the list for the very near future, problem here is $$ of course. If anyone out there has an ECU they would like to sell to me at a reasonable cost that would be awesome! Please let me know!

if driving the car like a "regular" human being it "drives fine". I have an AEM wideband on the car mind you. but if you punch it, the ecu is not richening up the mixture, the car has no ***** and is hanging up around 14-15:1 under WOT... when i checked the resistances in the AFM it is all over the place when i move the flapper. I have checked the wideband by swapping a sensor & gauge from a friends car and it does the same thing... readjusted the TPS, that seems to be fine and everything else is working properly.....

Ok, well, this is just a guess, but I'd wager that if the engine runs fine, with normal AFRs under average driving, that the AFM is probably just fine.

I'd be more curious to stick a cheap pressure gauge in the fuel line and see if the fuel pressure isn't dropping under heavy load. Might be nothing more than a clogged fuel filter or an aging pump.

ive checked fuel pressure under load, it is "in spec", ive got a 2 year old walbro pump in the tank and i changed the fuel filter with the pump... car doesnt bog down, acceleration is good but it is running more lean than it was. and has a lost its higher rpm power (this is using my premium ***-dyno). its definitely a bit slower, and when I ohmed out the AFM's flapper ciruit the resistance values were all over the place. Im pretty

Hustler- how much for the AFM shipped to 22554 and the ecu is stock? or aftermarket? my ecu is good but i am planning on going to a standalone very soon, just dont have the $$ right now.

I just gave the AFM away, but I can get it back. Rockauto has them refurbished for $150...how does $50+ shipping sound?

If you want the stock computer I'm going to have to dig, but if you need it and can wait I'll throw it in for free.

I have an AFM that was dyno tuned in the Milwaukee, WI area for use in Spec Miata. Apparently it opens up the top end a bit for 3-4 HP or so. When I installed it I noticed a bit more pull, but I don't have dyno proof, etc. You can tell it's modified when you move the flapper by hand. $70 + shipping.

I also have another stock AFM, $50 + shipping.

I won't need it because I am going to go standalone before this upcoming Spring.
