Just blew my motor due to the oil pump going out so-forth now in desperate need for a 99 block please let me know either where I can get one and or price if you have one. I do live in Saint Louis, MO. if that helps. This is my daily driver so hurting at the moment. Thank you.

Another question is can I look at 01-05 blocks will they fit or is their any modifications needed to tell my shop.

Crap I was just in St Louis today and could have brought one with me in my truck. I have one. I need to pull the crank to see if the block is OK. It threw a rod cap, but it came out of the side of the pan. I can check this weekend if you are interested. I'd do $300 shipped. Can ship Monday.

If you want to pick it up, I'll do $200. It's 6 hours each way. If you are interested I can pull it apart tomorrow to check it. If it's fine, you could pick up Sunday. It is a 99 block and had 88K.

let me check with my shop they are finding out what they can do for me as of monday and will let yeah know. Yeah if the motor is good I might just have u ship it providing it does not take to long to get it down here. Problem being its my daily so out of car atm and driving girlfriends car. Hope we get this fixed by end of next week sometime. Thinking I should put stronger rods and pistons in this motor. Also does anyone know about a oil pump issue with these cars. I am only pushing like 9lbs of boost atm. I was told the 99 block has weak rods in it thought maybe 01 was a bit better not sure I know the compression raises slightly. Any suggestions would be great also if anyone has links to new blocks or referb. blocks would be great thanks.

Also would like to say everyone has been great with help. I appreciate everyone coming to aid with suggestions and answers.

Were you running an underdrive pulley or the stock harmonic balancer? There is a known oil pump gear issue using UD pulleys (or high horsepower/high RPM with the stock balancer, but 9psi won't get you there).

Shipping would be two days max via truck. I'll pull the crank and the bad piston and give it a look sometime today/tonight.

Pulled the pan and gave it a look. Bores look good, still has nice cross hatch. I didn't pull the crank and pistons until I hear back from you to see if you need it.

Funny thing, the rod bolts didn't break, they came loose. They are both full length. I found one of the nuts in the pan.

Sent to machine shop have wiseco pistons from fm going to bore & hone block orders eagle h rods and calico bearings arp studs should be nice. Thx all.
