You can go cheap and toss on an OBX underdrive pulley from ebay. They're like $65.

there known to kill your motor.

Q: Why don't you sell underdrive pulleys?
A: When you install an underdrive pulley on the crankshaft, you are removing the harmonic balancer that Mazda put on the car. On a turbocharged car, this means your engine will last approximately 2000 miles before the oil pump fails and you start shopping for a new engine. Normally aspirated cars are not affected as dramatically, but we still do not recommend the pulleys

I take everything FM says with a grain of salt. That's their way of saying "there isn't enough profit margin in them because OBX controls the market"

Now if someone can show me proof of this failure from a non FM source I might be willing to listen.
