AEM NB 1.8 engine swap
I had an AEM EMS 1710 running my 1993 1,6 car before. Now finally after swapping on a rebuilt MSM 1.8 I'm looking to get it running. I changed a few sensors too vs just running all the stock 1.6 stuff.
In the software I was able to use the wizards to set up the AEM 3.5bar MAP, GM IAT, AEM UEGO, Sequential injection, VTPS and NB coils but those are ECU are irrevalent.
If anyone has any info on how to set up any of these it would be greatly appreciated:
- NB cam and crank sensors (wizard has stock settings for 90-95 miata or 96-97)
- IAC valve
- VICS solenoid (used wires from purge solenoid)
Also I can use start up maps from 90-93, 93 California, 94-95 or 96-97. Is it best to stick with 90-93 and switch everything over or use one of the other ones or just use the 94-95 since 1.8?
