Default Help with base map for IHI Begi system 3

I'm going to be running an early BEGI system 3 with the IHI turbo on my 91 1.6. The whole system is intact including the IC. I have decided to do away with the MSD/rising rate and tune a used AEM standalone. I'll be using a 1.6 auto throttle body for the variable TPS. No plans for a good knock sensor yet but am open to suggestion.
The computer came with a base map for NA1.6 and for an JR M45 on 1.6 but I would love to find a better starting point and save some dyno time.
BEGI says they have maps, but only for a MSPNP.
Can anyone here please help?

load the timing map from the MSPNP, then tune the fuel yourself w/ a wideband, should be easy and fairly safe if your methodical and careful.

I'm kind of new to the AEM, will it load a MS map or do I just copy values of the grid and enter them into the AEM one by one.
Are they the same resolution?

Pretty sure its not going to load directly... you'll have to download megatune or tunerstudio and find the files for whichever firmware the mspnp tune is in (free software) Load the msq and copy it by hand, it won't have to be exactly matching, just so you get xxxkpa @ xxxxrpm set about the same, put everything a degree or two back and go.

Which tuners use AEM that may have a map I could use.
I'd be willing to buy one if it saves me expensive dyno time.

It's not really that simple man, lots of stuff goes into everyone's map. The first thing you need to do is install the AEM into your car right now without your turbo setup. Get a wideband O2 (because you should have one anyways even if you do pay someone to dyno tune it), and then tune the non-boosted portion of the car. It's pretty simple and you will get a good feel for how everything works. Once you put the turbo on, hopefully you'll have a better grasp of how the AEM works and can then tune the turbo side of it.
