WAS is the keyword now! Same shop car was in, falling out, owner thinks he is more capable than he actually is, really delusional! It's for the better!

Anyways, got a 2ZZ engine built with EFR and so on which just went out of control. The owner wanted a track car and now it's this monster (which most likely will never be finished since the shop owner will never finish it I am sure). I was doing mostly fabrication and then was going to do the wiring and MS3 and so on. Just most of the back end off and made some removable support. Mounted wing and rear trunk and next was going to be the fuel cell. It was a fun project and kind of sad not working on it anymore and feel super sorry for the car owner, but oh well! Have to sometimes pull the cord on the chute way earlier than you think/hope

Thanks! I got married and moved shop in the last few months and also moved this last weekend, so haven't worked on the car. However I do have more parts now so starting next couple of weeks I will work on it. Specially since the shop and home are now the same place (no I am not sleeping in my shop haha)! So hopefully more picture coming soon!

Well I guess time to do a quick update. Finally leaving at the same location as the car so I can get back at working on her. Have the switch panel designed to replace the quick one I made to get the car running! Here is a CAD image of it done by Viking Panels. Once it arrives here I will change that and put the BOSS fuse/relay box to replace the crappy Chinese boards I put in originally!

And I have started designing the front suspension for ALLOFIT (double a-arms!)

Picked up the scales to find out the COG and the COG height to help with the calculations.

Out with the old, in with the new and BOSS! The old China-relay-board is freaking garbage. Half the relays have stopped working after sitting for a few months (inside too). Anyways, this looks much better.

Yeah, nice units and it will be less messy and no screw terminals getting loose because of vibration! i can't wait to get the switch panel in hand. Viking Panels does real nice work! All on CNC machine done in-house and great customer support!

Happy new year y'all!

Got the switch panel and relay box wired up and it is all good to go. I was sent 1.25" mounts for the panel and the cage is 1.5". So just waiting on this until I mount it. I didn't take a picture of it mounted with zip-ties!

And I have got #6 wire and 6-50 plug and a 60A breaker to run the wiring for the welder. So the project will be back on the track shortly!

Well looks like the oil pan and pump are coming out. As much as I like the boundary engineering pump, this will be better and love the ability to change pressure on the fly. Got a great deal from someone who bought it but never used it. Less than third of the price!!!
