I realy like the GV lip or touge lip I just did not know what they were called before but as soon as I get some money together I will get one. They are only $180 on R-speed witch is the same cost as the R-package lip so I think I will just go with the GV lip.

Its seems to be a trend to be a big D bag if you have an SRT-4 or an idot. For example there is a guy I went to school with who went a bought one about three weeks ago and he is a high school drop out, lives with granma and has no job like the average SRT owner. I also want to say I do not belive all SRT owners are idiots but it seems a lot are. I have meet and know a couple guys that are real cool that own them. On to the story. He tells me about his sweet new ride that he has painted the grille on and part of the interior and it still only has 1000 miles on it "idiot" and how fast it is. Then he proceeds to tell me he has no plans on paying for it, he got it for no money down and he is going to beat the crap out of it and drive it for 2 or 3 months until they repo it. I was thinking awesome you finaly have a car that runs and you are going to beat it up and not keep it awesome. So last night I am driving through town and what do I see, the same dumb *** takes his new car down a street with 4 people in the car on a down hill off camber turn, at about 60MPH and hits a parked car. He hit a parked blazer because the new tires on the car were already bald and it hit this blazer so hard it pushed it over the curb and through a fence in a lady's yard about 10 Ft. off the road. The hood flew off in one piece and flew into the other yard. So now he gets off scott clean because he did get gap insurance. So now we have one more idot with out an SRT running around.

Ok so I got some more work done today you can't see it all but it got done. The roll bar is completely in all the bolts are tight and in. The harness is in on the drivers side, I have to do some seam welding on the passenger side before that one gets done. The rear axles are in and they look great. They are from a 2001 miata and bolted right in with my RX-7 rear. All the brakes are complete with e-brake cables hooked up and lines installed. I had to trim the rear dust shield a little bit as well. I picked up a R-Package front lip locally for a good deal and got rid of my "DIY" lip. The first lip looked good but this is defiantly better, more money than I intended to spend but well worth it.

I got the shifter in today and much to my surprise it comes out in the stock location perfectly. I had to trim about a half inch off the front of the opening in the trans tunnel and of course I had to remake my own shifter. I love buying new parts and cutting them in half as soon as you get them. So to sum it up the shifter looks good and fits into the stock surrounds and all with out cutting the plastic or of the center consol just a little off the trans tunnel. Here are the pics so you can see what it looks like. I painted the shifter just to keep the rust off. I can not upload anymore pics I have used all my space but here are the photobucket links I will have to join the forum so I can upload more.

No pictures but I do have some updates. I got my harness yesterday so I will send it out monday and I will have it back and ready to go in about 6 weeks. The turbo housing is done being welded so I can finish plumbing it, and I finished the oil drain today and got it heat wraped so it won't get to hot. The list is getting smaller little by little. The only major thing left to buy is the driveshaft and I have to take it to the place to have it made.
