I guess you could funnel two to the large side, and one to the little. Then I probably wouldn't want to adapt it to a straight 4 though.

I like the sound of OEM watercooled turbo, and mas boost under 5500 where I spend all my time. These turbos are ~$250 on ebay, and there's lots of them.

I wonder if I could machine a v-band in the turbofold thing ,and fit that massive v-band outlet thingie...

I guess, but then I'd have to pull/install the manifold with the turbo on there. Guess I could weld a flange on then machine it true.

Maybe I'm not getting how small it is, and it wouldn't be that bad.

Naw, weld a v-band on to the turbo.

@yank, got any pics of it?

It's so small, I think I could make up a t3 adapter and just weld that on and use the taco, lol

I need to get a tig welder to make a nice baller manifold.

I find OEM engines with little teeny turbos really frustrating. Lots of low end torque that gets you all excited only to peter out above 4000 RPM.

That describes r56 mini cooper in spades. Kinda what I'd be worried about.

This is a tuned up 335i, can't even break 400ft/lb on the ground. My 1.6 prob stands no chance up top.

I don't want to buy a $700 tig welder to make a manifold for a $200 turbo that may not work though, at least not right now.

I need to buy a t56, or buy a nv3500, or break down and get a 4l60e...

I have an NV3550 that is pissing me off to no end. Keeps getting sticky no matter what fluid. Hailey would kill me if I sold it though.

Not sure what Ben's price is, but I know he was quite interested in seeing it go on a miata. And I kinda would too lol.

I need a 2wd version, though, hopefully one that works.

I am getting pretty irritated with my s10 being in the corner for half a decade, taking up space. I need to finish it, think I'm gonna do that over the winter.

So small = all of it asap.

We had GT30 flanges around the shop that i was planning on welding onto the turbine housing but its actually too big. A 35mm or 40mm turbosmart external wastegate flange and cast v-band clamp would be more appropriate. 3" downpipe flange because its awesome.

Let me know if you want dims or something.

I was thinking about selling all the parts I'd gathered off, but all I really need is a transmission, exhaust and a wiring harness. That **** is all cheap, mostly, so I'd be stupid to not finish it. I'm going to sell this Colorado I've not driven in a year for the shop space, then just finish it right quick. I'll just drive around on the shitty small rear end and stock wheels for a bit, I trust myself to not explode them in the meantime.

Plus I want something that goes down the highway better, and v8 s10 should do that alright. Especially if I get a t56, love that overdrive ratio lol

Then I have fun truck to drive while I returbo miata, or 1.8 swap, or whatever I do.

So you are saying a t3 flange is a bit too big for the turbo, or the turbo's too big for the t3 flange?

I could machine a nice blended flange really easy, if you could weld it on there good for me. I can mig a 3" downpipe, for testing.

How much would you want for the lil' guy?

I'll donate the welding machine/time.

Wonder if yank would just trade it for a set of the brake brackets

Whatever ended up happening with yours, did the washers work? Mine still seem alright, never got them to full running temp yet though. Doesn't seem there's a easy way to do that legally on the street...

I've got to try and hit a trade show in January, so I can't get machine time sooner, but then I'm going to make brackets again for everyone else.
