Have debated carrying some of these in the truck if I went that route

Shouldn't be using the e-brake at the track with hot brakes anyways

The parking brake is very useful for putting the car on the trailer.

Hids in halogens AND dorifto?

You's on thin ice!

I already kinda know the answers to this stuff, kinda, but how important is it to run the same compound pads F/R? With all the track time I get, how much longer can I expect my rear pads to last? Allofit?

Is the sport rear caliper really necessary to balance front 11.75" discs? I understand proportioning valves, but at some point you can't add any more rear bias, is this ever a problem with 1.8 calipers on sport rotors? With the sport caliper larger pistons and larger pads, would they not be balanced by the proportioning valve better?

Napa has sport calipers and brackets for $280 for a pair, $120 back to you if they'll take 1.8's as cores, so $160 for fresh calipers and brackets. You'd be able to skip the m-tuned bracket with sport calipers and brackets, right, plus the bigger pad advantage? Is pad selection for rear sports really all that bad?

Yes.

Plus, heavy rear OEM caliper is heavy. No like for maximum fast.

15x9 has the lip start in the same plane as the wheel mounting surface. Sorry crap pic, real hard to take on black wheel.

15x7 had the mounting surface 1-1/4" in from where the raised lip on inside of wheel starts or 1-1/4" closer to caliper.

I added a 1/2" spacer under my 15x7 and it still won't fit 11.5". Definitely will need 3/4" or thicker spacer on the narrower wheels.

Thanks for all the measuring relte. I was going to be surprised if the 11.5's fit the laces, but unless for some reason they have a completely different hoop design, I know they wont fit.

Ee ghads man, by that point it'll have annealed to the paint and the car will be literally ****.

I'd say spray undercoating on then I remembered OR doesn't salt.

I'm gonna go steam clean something....

Lol @ being concerned about annealing the paint on his car.

The car looks like it was painted ten years ago with spray paint by someone who didn't know what they were doing and did no prep.

I like the little monster, but pretty it isn't.

Mine made a huge difference. Probably the most substantial difference of all my bracing, and i was coming from near mint stock rails...

Edit- i was really enjoying not having email notifications every 5 seconds, there goes that!
